Footing Turkey Stir Fry

I seriously never get tired of super easy stir fry dinners! I hateful, what's non to love? Only a few ingredients, you lot tin piece of work in a TON of vegetables, and they're super fast! Using ground meat makes them even easier, considering in that location's no cutting or slicing raw meat (non a fan of this task). While those services are super convenient, they're also super expensive and I know I tin can make similar meals at home for a fraction of the price. :) Y'all can easily suit the macros in this meal past increasing, decreasing, or eliminating any of these elements: turkey, vegetables, rice, or nuts. Customize your Ground Turkey Stir Fry

  • Reduce the recipe cost past increasing the vegetables and decreasing the amount of ground turkey
  • Utilize ground beefiness, pork, chicken, or crumbled tofu or tempeh in place of the ground turkey
  • Other vegetable options: mushrooms, broccoli, carrots, edible bean sprouts, snap peas, greenish beans, water chestnuts
  • Top with cashews or sesame seeds in place of the peanuts

  • Make the stir fry sauce by stirring together the soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, brownish sugar, red pepper, and water until the carbohydrate is dissolved. Set the sauce aside.

  • Dice the bell peppers and slice the green onions.

How to Make Ground Turkey Stir Fry – Stride by Step Photos

Easy Stir Fry Sauce in a small white bowl

Kickoff, make the stir fry sauce so it's gear up to go. Stir together one/four cup soy sauce, 1/ii Tbsp toasted sesame oil, 1/2 Tbsp brownish sugar, a pinch of blood-red pepper flakes, and 1 Tbsp water. Stir until the brown sugar is dissolved. Add together 2 Tbsp of your favorite cooking oil to a large skillet and heat over medium. Once hot, add 19oz. ground turkey and 2 minced cloves of garlic. Stir and melt until the turkey is cooked through and all of the moisture has evaporated out of the skillet. Soupy stir fry is not good. :)

Add the diced bell peppers and green onions to the skillet. Continue to stir and cook just until they begin to soften (nigh 2 minutes). Don't let them cook too much because they will proceed to cook over the next few minutes equally more ingredients are added. Add the spinach to the skillet and cook for 1-two minutes more than, or until the spinach is nigh half wilted, like in the photo.

Finally, pour in the stir fry sauce. If your brown sugar wasn't completely dissolved and some remains on the bottom of the basin, brand certain to scrape that into the skillet. Stir and cook everything for 1-two minutes more, or until everything is coated in sauce and heated though.
